AA upgrade list

AA upgrade list

  1. Anonymous Guest

On a recent transatlantic trip, I noticed that the AA upgrade list was 12 people long and that number 1, 9, and 10 cleared.

I suspect numbers 9 and 10 were going J to F as I was number 1 going Y to J and my companion was number 2 on the upgrade list and she did not clear. However, do gate agents generally clear the list in order? Does J to F get listed on the same upgrade list? I noticed on my return trip that numbers 1, 2, 5, and 7 cleared. Again, I cleared but my companion (number 3) did not. There appeared to be one gate upgrade while onboard (Y to J).

    Hello Pete

You seem to have fallen true the cracks of the forums.

Let me give this a bump and see if anyone else know the answer to your question.

Yeah, the upgrade list for AA is all smushed in to one. So J to F is in the same queue as Y to J.

It’s a bit odd that your companion didn’t clear on the second flight, but basically there’s no transparency into the list at AA, so it’s a bit hard to tell what’s going on.
