AA International Upgrade Multiple Waitlist Processing

AA International Upgrade Multiple Waitlist Processing

  1. Anonymous Guest

Greetings all. Question on AA SWUs. I am an EXP waitlisted for an international SWU next week with two other family members so I plan to use 3 upgrades. Let’s say I am top of the list when it opens and let’s say only two upgrades are available instead of three. As top of the list person, do I still get offered to use two or am I automatically passed over because my request was for three and it failed. I am trying to figure out at what point I consider splitting the reservation up to increase chances and not sure how the above process works in practice
