70 miles from 1k

70 miles from 1k

After what is potentially my last flight on *A for 2015, I’ll be 70 miles from 1k status. What are the chances United will grant me status regardless? Obviously a mileage run is a possibility, if necessary, but with only 70 miles to go, I’m hoping to avoid it.

    Anybody have experience/recommendations with this?

Did you think about using the Premier Accelerator from UA?
70 miles sounds like too little for a mileage run. The accelerator program should come in handy for this.

Thanks, but I have the same issue there. 70 is too small. Are there ever offers under 5k miles? I haven’t seen any. And at the standard ~10cents for a mile, it’d be cheaper to do a mileage run.
