Hi Ben/Tiffany,

I have a ticket with AA putting codeshare on AY. part of it is JFK-HEL, with the flt code of AAXXXX. Do any of you happen to be aware of any way to request upgrade on AY? I am EXP with AA so I am wondering if miles&cash copay could work.

Welcome, @Terence – according to this post from TPG,
American Airlines lets you upgrade on codeshare flights with British Airways and Iberia, but unfortunately does not offer upgrades on other Oneworld partners, including Qatar Airways.

So it sounds like you’re out of luck unless @Lucky or @Tiffany knows better.

@Terence — Welcome! Unfortunately not. There’s a reciprocal upgrade program for members of the TATL joint venture, but no way to upgrade Finnair flights.

Thank you both, @MidSouth Skier @Tiffany !
