Apologies if someone has already posted on this. The newly renovated AA lounge is up and running at LHR Terminal 3. In short, I’m super impressed and although smaller, I think it is probably better than the BA Arrivals Lounge in T5. First off, the food offering is really great. They had a really delicious buffet, but also an A La Carte menu with some good options and bloody mary’s if you were in the mood. But what really sets it apart in my view is the new shower suites. At the old lounge and at the BA T5 lounge, the rooms get so HOT. You end up walking out of the suite sweating, sort of defeating the purpose of showering in the first place. Really a problem if you’re a business traveler and going straight into meetings. Anyways the new suites do not seem to have this problem. It was a perfect temperature the whole time and walked out very refreshed and clean shaven with the shave kit they offered when I checked in (I was carrying on so had no shave cream). Also, the water pressure in the shower was A+.
