Italy quarantine and entry
We booked a vacation last December with American Airlines Vacations to travel business class to Italy in early October. Currently Italy is not allowing nonessential visitors (tourists) from the US into their country. Additionally there is a two week quarantine required upon arrival, which is actually longer than our entire trip! if we are not allowed into the country are you aware of any recourse we would have in getting a refund as opposed to a voucher from American for our tickets? It is unlikely the flight would be canceled.
Has there been any schedule change at all to your original flight?
I would think you have a good case for getting a refund. While I’m sure they will press you to take a voucher you likely can get a refund.
