    Ben/Lucky:

I was reading your report to DPS and have a quick question about visas. I am going to DPS soon and noticed that they have Visa Exemption and a VOA. Is there usually no issue with the Visa Exemption or should I plan on paying the $35 for a VOA?

    Thanks!

Assuming you have a US passport, there aren’t any fees of any kind for tourists. I cleared immigration on arrival and was not asked to pay any fees nor did I have to get a visa in advance. Just make sure you fill out the immigration form that’s handed out on the plane (and should also be available in the immigration hall, if you weren’t given one or need another)
