First time asking, long time lurker and flyer,
I’m looking to set up my daughter and future son-in-law for a trip to the homeland. I’ve been flying and enjoying travel for decades, but only recently started working on amassing points. Living in a Delta hub, it’s hard to avoid them (DTW).
So, what are my options for a January 2018 trip to SCL? I have SkyMiles aplenty. Should I try for a LAN Visa for added opportunities? Just wanted to pick the brains of people who have been doing this longer than me, with a wider variation in award programs than I might be used to.
Thank you in advance for any input or directions you might suggest I investigate.
