EY JFK Lounge – open or not?

EY JFK Lounge – open or not?

    Hey there,
does anybody know if the new EY JFK Lounge is open now? There is an account of a “soft opening” on some other blog, but EY themselves still speak of that “Wingtips”-thing. Will be flying out Dec 1 on what I thought at time of booking would be the inaugural EY 380 flight to AUH.
If that lounge is not open yet, I’d rather spend some more time at the hotel as I understand the Wingtips Lounge is not a place you’d want to be.

    Best regards from currently Thailand

@Nightliner as you can see here: http://heelsfirsttravel.boardingarea.com/2015/11/23/the-new-etihad-lounge-at-jfk-is-open/, the lounge is open.

Thanks for the link – this was the other blog I was talking about. As EY still says it is not open, I wonder if they specifically opened it for that inauguration flight?

I doubt they would open a lounge just for one flight. In general EY’s ground services tend to be lacking so it wouldn’t surprise me if they just haven’t gotten around to updating the page yet. How much time were you planning to spend at the lounge?

Probably 1.5 hrs or so, depending on how long security and getting to the airport from Manhattan takes. Re: Gnd Services…their hotline is abysmal. Horrid. 🙂
