Connections fro SEA to MEX

Connections fro SEA to MEX

  1. seabear New Member

Hi seeking some feedback regarding booking for a February trip from SEA to MEX on Delta: There are two routing choices I am considering; the first involves transit via SLC with a 36 layover (which is shorter than I would normally consider ideal). The second is via LAX with 63 minutes to make the connection which also seems short for LA. Any thoughts?

That is pretty short for either airport. SLC is pretty compact but – at least on the day I randomly selected – had only 1 non-stop to MEX per day. LAX had 5 that day. So even if you were to miss your connection in LA, unless it’s the last flight of the day there would still be a chance to get to MEX that same day.

Dont know about SLC but if you’re on time at LAX, it should be pretty easy. Delta operates out of T2 and T3, and there’s an airside bus connecting the two. If you’re arriving and departing from either terminal, you’re fine. If you’re connecting between the two, you may need to rush a bit? I dont know how frequent the shuttle runs.
