A340 vs 747

A340 vs 747

So im looking at going to Kiev this fall and Lufthansa has a few options that are great for me. One transatlantic uses a 747 and one uses an A340. Ive always wanted to fly a 747, but also know the A340 are supposed to be really nice. By the way will be flying in economy. Which would you guys choose and why?

    Hello,

Both planes have the exact same hard products. I would definitely chose the 747 if it was a 747-8i as it is brand new. However, if it is the 747-400 then it doesn’t really matter. The 747 is amazing as it is the ‘queen of the skies’.

    Hope this helps.

I went back and looked again. It is indeed the 747-8I.

    Hi,

I would definitely choose the 747 as it is brand new, only a few airlines operate it and it has a humidifier.
