What are the best options to earn Aeroplan in the US?

    Hi,

    I’m Canadian and a faithful Aeroplan member. I now live in the US and plan to go back up north in a few years. I live in a United hub and find I have even more award availabilities (and less outrageous fees) than when I was in Canada. So, what are the best options to earn Aeroplan in the US? TD Bank US Aeroplan? Amex SPG? Any other?

    AmEx Everyday Preferred I would imagine.

    Edit: I was responding from the perspective of ongoing spend. As [USER=522]@PhatMiles[/USER] mentions below there are several AmEx MR earning cards that will provide very nice sign up bonuses.

    Any Amex MR earning card.
    Amex Plat/Gold/EveryDay/EveryDayPreferred
    and also the business version of Plat/Gold
    and some other cards too.
    Deposit UA to Aeroplan ?
