With the change in the credit for those who had card prior to change would I still be able to get a 2nd calendar year credit in this scenario? Billing cycle ends the 6th of each month. first cycle ended Feb 6th and have used credit this year. My final billing cycle should end Jan 6, 2018. If I purchase a flight between January 1st and 5th will I get the 2nd credit on the same calendar year of the card and then still have 1 more credit to use when my 2nd calendar year cycle starts there after?

It’s one credit per calendar year. If you were to buy the ticket 1/1-5 and then cancel the card you will have gotten 2 statement credits within one calendar year but you don’t get a second one after your second card member-year starts.
