From Mexico to Australia, and back to Mexico
Hello,
my girlfriend and I are planing to move to australia to study a postgrade and I would like to know if you can tell me the best credit card option and airline to fly from Mexico to Australia, and a credit card that I can still use in Australia to afford some travels back to Mexico to visit the family, we´re searching if possible first class flights but we can settle with business class

Welcome.
Doy you or your girlfriend have access to US credit cards or only Mexican credit cards?
sorry for the late answer, we dont have credit history but i guess we could get a US credit card
Ok it’s never too late, lets try again.
Do you or your girlfriend have a US social security number so that you can apply for US credit cards?
Having access to US credit cards would be step one, building a credit history would be step two.
Even Australian credit cards are better than Mexican cards, but I would probably look at something that gives you cash back, and then use those funds to buy miles. I think that is going to give you the most flexibility, but otherwise a card that earns SPG points (or allows you to transfer to SPG) will likely be your best option.
