zero ANA award space all year
I’m trying to book an ANA business class award (on ANA) from London to Tokyo or Korea and I’m seeing zero award space on ANA (every single ANA flight is “waitlist”) for the rest of 2016. I also looked at their general availability calendar tool and see that every day for the rest of 2016 between Japan and all European and North American destinations (with maybe one or two exceptions) is listed as “waitlist” for economy, business and first. Is it really possible that ANA has zero award space between Europe/North America and Japan for all of 2016? Or must this be a temporary system quirk? I called and the representative had no explanation. Is ANA now like Singapore where pretty much all non-partner awards have to be waitlisted?
