Using Qantas Freq. Flyer points

Using Qantas Freq. Flyer points

We have enough Freq. Flyer points for Sydney to Washington DC return and can get flights to Dallas or LA but Qantas partner American Airlines is not offering any seats to DC. This trip is for end of July to early August 2016. Any suggestions, internal flights are more expensive than we anticipated.

Flaxen, I’d keep watching as I would think space would open up eventually, especially on the DFW route. You may also want to search routes from LA or DFW via Charlotte (CLT) to see if there is space available there. As AA’s calendar is only open through mid-August now, they’re probably waiting to see if they can sell any of those seats before making them available as award seats.

Flaxen, are you looking at booking economy or business class tickets?
