using delta points to go east or west?
rtw segment, trying to decide to go east or west from the usa:
London/china/new Zealand/ usa
OR
us/NZ/China/Italy/USA
only have enough points with delta but have an opportunity to obtain Hawaiian before trip, to take me from the mainland to Honolulu…………
I think it depends on where you can find available award space. Generally, US-Europe awards are tough on SkyTeam though Aeroflot’s a pretty decent option and availability is better than AirFrance, Delta or KLM.
China Airlines is a great option get to NZ via Asia and from Asia to Europe. China Southern and China Eastern arent as great. Garuda is also a solid option but they have a smaller network.
