I’ve got an upcoming flight to MLE on Turkish metal booked through a UA award. I was trying to assign seats, but when I provided TK with the PNR (from the United “View additional confirmation numbers” option) they say the reservation has been cancelled. Logging into the TK website, I see the same thing.

Has anyone seen this before? My best guess is that the TK PNR United is giving me is no longer valid. This doesn’t seem like the classic UA partner award not ticketing issue. That said, it’s all conjecture at this point and I have no idea about how to go about solving the issue. Any ideas?

Well, start by getting your eTicket # from United. That should be static, even if something has happened with the PNR.

If Turkish still shows the reservation as canceled, then it may have not been ticketed correctly. You’ll need to get United to have their alliance liaison work on repairing the reservation.
