Hi,
I’m just beginning the planning stages for a vacation in Asia in Fall 2017. Was wondering if there are ways to book the international business class the A380(or 777w?) with aeroplan from SIN to NRT or HKG or ICN(is this just regional planes?)? I really want to try it out. I was browsing the aeroplan website to see what the Fall availability this year was looking like and I can book Singapore business class from SIN to HKG but only their 777-200 which I don’t think is the right config. There are six daily flights to HKG, but I only get the three 777-200s to show up. Can’t find any J SQ flight from SIN to NRT/HND.
I’ve read that SQ is tight with the award seat they release to partners. Is this what is happening here? Release the regional award seats but not the long haul seats?

[USER=926]@Allan D[/USER] — Yep, that’s pretty common. SQ doesn’t release premium cabin inventory to partners, with the exception of the occasional intra-Asia flight. And even then, it’s typically on the old products. I haven’t seen partner space available on the 77W or A380 for years, sadly.
