Singapore Suites Award Waitlist 2 People
Hi,
I’m trying to book Singapore Suites award tickets (for my wife and I) from either Frankfurt to JFK or JFK to Frankfurt next September and will most likely need to waitlist the ticket. However, the Singapore agent says that I cannot waitlist for 2 people. And when I waitlist for one person, the option to waitlist for another person goes away. Any workarounds to waitlist for two people on the same flight?
Thanks!
Hmm, have you tried doing it online? I know we’ve waitlisted for multiple passengers in the past: http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2015/03/16/basics-of-waitlisting-singapore-airlines-krisflyer-award-tickets/
Thanks, Tiffany,
I’ve been trying pretty consistently over the last few days and it always says “Sorry, we cannot process your request. Please contact your local Singapore airlines office.” (or something to that effect). So I did and he told me that you can’t waitlist two people. Maybe he is misinformed or maybe it’s a new policy? I’ll keep trying online, but may be something to dig into if the policy has changed.
Best,
John
Are you always trying for the same flight and/or date? Some flights come up not even as waitlist, but as unavailable. It could be the case that even waitlist has limited numbers allowed, and there is only one space left for waitlist on the particular flight you’re looking at – or only ever one on the particular flight number. Once that one waitlist spot is taken, waitlist is closed.
