Anonymous GuestI used Skymiles to book a business class ticket from LAX to PEK connecting in PVG on China Eastern. But there is a schedule change to the PVG-PEK segment, and I will arrive in PEK 3 hours late. Called Delta, and they can’t find other flights.
There are other flights (CI, KE, CX) departing around the same time that can take me to Beijing earlier. Is it possible to ask Delta to let me take these flights? If not, what other options do I have?

Airlines can often open up space on their flights when an issue is caused due to schedule changes but can’t usually force open award space on partner airlines. I would check to see if there is a DL metal flight that works better for you so you can switch.
