Hi Ben

Do you know if it’s possible to change an EY flight booked via AA? I want book AUH-SYD in F, but can’t find any 380 space for months at time (March onwards…). See plenty of 77W space to book. If I book a 77W flight, can I change same day (assuming open seats) to the 380? Happy to pay if need be. If so, does it need to be done at AUH airport?

I’m not sure what the EY policy is when they control the ticket close to departure but AA will allow you to change the routing for no fees as long as the departure and destination stay the same and you are keeping or upgrading the class of service.

You can always change your AA ticket, but you may have to insist on the ticket being manually reissued right away. If it gets stuck in the ticketing queue you won’t be able to check in, and the phone calls get annoying at that point.
