NYC to Manila?

NYC to Manila?

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hi folks!

I’m booking round-trip travel between NYC and Manila. I have a significant amount of Ultimate Rewards points, plus some existing miles on Asian carriers (Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines, Korean Air).

I’ve looked for the cheapest business class ticket available but am having trouble understanding how to use all the different partner awards. For example I see that, through Alaska Airlines, a CX business class ticket could cost me 100,000 miles for RT travel – much better than if I booked it through CX website or Asia Miles (180k miles in those cases). But as my points are UR points I don’t know if it’s possible to book with Alaska Airlines.

Can anyone help me find the best option for business class travel between NYC and Manila?

    Many thanks!

Best bet is transferring the UR points to Korean (partnership ends 8/25), United or Virgin Atlantic and booking with them on their partners. With Virgin Atlantic, you can book round trip travel on ANA for a decent cost.
