NYC – LON – Award Sweet Spots?

NYC – LON – Award Sweet Spots?

Long-time reader, first-time caller!

Any thoughts on good transatlantic redemptions for business cabins? I’ve got a decent number of Amex and Chase points and am looking to travel end of May / first week of June (fairly flexible on exact dates). Does anyone have any ideas of good deals or places to look?

If you can find saver awards on SkyTeam carriers, KE’s program is a good place to book. 80k round trip in business, though there are fuel surcharges.

On June 13th, for LON-JFK, Korean Air shows the following availability for business class:
Delta 1 – 2 Seats
Delta 2 – 9 Seats (!!!!!!)
Delta 3 – 8 Seats (!!!!!!)

@Tiffany Is it just me or is that much Delta saver space incredible?! I hope its not a glitch, considering I’m seeing saver awards (70k one way) on Delta’s website.

For the outbound, I picked June 6th to check and it’s giving me 2 stop itineraries: JFK-Glasgow-Amsterdam-London, with Delta on the TATL and KLM for GLA-AMS-LHR.

Good Luck!

I forgot to mention – Chase’s UR points can be transferred to Korean instantly.

Amex miles can be transferred to Delta. I checked 6/13 on Delta’s website and 9 seats are available for LHR-JFK on DL1 and VS137 at the saver level, which is amazing.
