Lifemiles debiting miles after redemption

Lifemiles debiting miles after redemption

    Hi All,
Last week I booked two tickets using Lifemiles, on partners, for travel in April. I wasn’t able to complete online, so had to call and they booked the flight and was contacted about 24 hours later to pay taxes and fees. I was then sent the automated emails with ticket information (LM ticket numbers, and the partners record locators). I then contacted each partner airline and was able to select seats. However, my LM balance wasn’t debited the miles. This is my first time booking via LM, so was wondering if I should be worried, or this is business as usual with LM. Thanks!

That is strange. You could either call them to follow up or leave the miles there and if/when they realize they haven’t taken them they will be able to. (Don’t empty out your account, that might result in your tickets being canceled).
