LH First Class Avail – which day of the week?

LH First Class Avail – which day of the week?

    Hi there,

I am looking at scoring an LH F award from FRA to the US/MEX/anywhere on a day flight.

Is there a rule of thumb on which day of the week it is best to get the seat you want?

I’ll start looking 15 days out, but of course I want to maximize my chances of getting the best flight possible. In using Eurobonus miles, flying CPH-FRA-???

    Many thanks

    Hello Anton,

    In one word – expertflyer
    In one letter – O

The info above is about the release of the award seat. In terms of redemption, I usually use Aeroplan (80k + ~3xx USD) or Asiana (50k + ~3xx USD) to redeem LH F one way.

    Hope that helps! 😉

Avoid Mondays. Lots of business travelers.

Last year I was returning from Europe on a Monday hoping to upgrade to F. As the time approached, space opened up on both Sunday and Tuesday but never on the day I was flying. I would expect mid-week in general to be better.
