I have points with Hilton but need 40K points to make a 5night free award and wife has the 40K. CRs say its $25 to transfer her points to me….any creative ways to transfer without paying?

Not sure if the fee will code as travel – if it does, I’d charge it to a card where you can redeem cashback on travel expenses, like the Barclay Arrival/Arrival Plus card. Or jsut a straight cash back card like the Citi DoubleCash. At least then you can redeem cash back to offset the cost.
