Getting CX/JL F
Good Morning!
Assuming I understand the few posts regarding AA awards and getting First class for future travel, I’ve booked the following:
CX J JFK-HKG, CX F HKG-BKK and CX J BKK-SIN, and
CX F HKG-HND, JL J NRT-JFK
Assuming space opens up, I’d be able to change the first routing to CX F JFK-HKG CX J HKG-SIN, and the 2nd routing to CX F HKG-HND JL F NRT-JFK, without a reprice and additional miles? For the latter, would I be able to drop JL and get a direct HKG-JFK in CX F without a reprice?
Thanks!
David W
@David W did they charge F rates for the whole first segment with the middle leg being in F?
F rates are being charged – 67500 each way per person
I *think* you’ll be fine but hard to say with certainty with the general guidance AA has put out.
im hoping it’ll be fine. i wont be changing the airlines from what’s currently booked. just the class of service and going from HKG-BKK-SIN to HKG-SIN direct

I think he might be booked on the one-stop flight HKG-BKK-SIN, as opposed to a stopover in BKK. In that case the pricing was correct.
