Anonymous GuestMy family of 3 should fly SIN-DXB-JFK in March 2016. There are only 2 F seats on both flights, and for third person there is only availability in Y/J on first and second flights, respectively. If I book a reservation now (2F seats and Y/J seats for third person), is there a good chance that EK might open another F (or at least J) seats on these flights? How good EK in releasing seats close to departure or 2F seats is a max they do for partners?

There’s certainly a chance additional seats could open up before departure! I’d say better than 50%, but there are of course lots of factors.
