Does domestic AA saver space open up last minute?

Michael C MemberI’m looking to book a domestic AA flight with BA Avios for 9 days from now, but there is currently no saver space available on AA. Does saver space tend to open up last minute on AA, or once it’s gone, it’s gone? Also, if saver space does open up, will it be bookable with BA Avios or only available to AAdvantage?

AA saver award space is unpredictable and there’s no guarantees that it’ll open up last minute. If saver space appears though, it’s bookable with Avios. If you’re unsure, check for the flights directly on BA’s site or on Alaska Airline’s site. If it shows up there, its bookable.
