Do you really get PJs in Qatar J? Any great awards we should book before the Avios devaluation?

Prepping for the Avios devaluation, which is making me sort of sad – especially since I am just getting back from a great trip to South America flying LAN and TAM business using Avios.

Anyway, we’ve got 189K in our household account and I am looking for one more really nice business or first class redemption for next March/April. I am thinking Qatar? IAD-DOH OW for two is 140K and the product looks really nice. Do you really get PJs in business? What do you think? Any other great awards we should be booking before the devaluation?

@ Lauren — Definitely not a bad option, though I don’t think that’s such an exceptional value, especially since they impose fuel surcharges as well. They do offer pajamas in business class, though.

Personally I’d lean towards Aer Lingus, but otherwise Qatar Airways isn’t a bad option.
