Sorry Ben, another question – i just read your two Turkish Air flights – first and business class, and was wondering if you have any updated suggestions on how to book an award flight with Turkish. In your more recent business blog, you mentioned United (Chase transfer partner) and US Air (SPG transfer partner). With the US/AA merge, do you know whether you can use AA miles to book Turkish award flights? I do like the US to Tokyo via Istanbul option that you mentioned. Any other options? Thanks!

@ Cynthia — You can’t use American miles for flights on Turkish, but Aeroplan and United are both great options.
