Howdy from Texas!

My wife and I have approximately 200k AA miles and 200k Alaska miles. Would it be possible to book emirates first class dfw-dxb-syd then back home in first/business on another carrier? Trying to get one last hoorah in before starting a family.

Thanks!
HGL

@happygolucky it seems like Alaska does not allow EK redemptions to SYD (https://www.alaskaair.com/content/mileage-plan/award-chart/award-chart-australia.aspx). Return space is often hard to book with Qantas too so you might have to pay for two awards. Maybe consider another destination?
