Delta Flights To/From Tel Aviv

Delta Flights To/From Tel Aviv

    Hi ben,

Would you know anything about finding availability on flying blue to Israel on Delta direct flight.
From witch country should I search availability?

    All the best ben!

Yakov, DL only has one flight to TLV from JFK I believe. You should be able to search for availability on the flying blue website.

I’d also search on DL’s website and call FB to book if it shows there but not on FB.

That’s worth a shot too but I wouldn’t expect guaranteed availability on FB for space you see on DL since airlines don’t always release all low-level space to partners.

Hi! You can search on the FlyingBlue site, or the Alaska Airlines site. There is almost 0% chance that Delta will release saver space to their partners on that route though — it’s considered a premium route and I almost never see low-level award space on it.

I’m looking to book a direct flight from jfk to tlv with Delta, I would like to use the flying blue program as it’s only requiring 25k for one way, but I could not find any availability around the hole year, does anyone have an idea about that? which citi would be the best to search avalability for that? is there a way to book a diferent des. and then change?

thank’s for all that had reply to my post, but I’m asking that same question again, if anyone knows if there is a loophole in there system that isit is possible to book a Delta direct flight on that det. with flying blue?
(like searching on the web from a diferent country…)

Hi @Yakov — it’s not about loopholes, but I think a better understanding of how these programs work might help here.

Delta makes certain inventory available at the low/saver level. Partners only have access to the low level, other inventory is reserved for SkyMiles members.

FlyingBlue does the same the thing, where only “Classic” awards can be booked through partner programs. The rest of the awards are a higher price, and can only be booked through FlyingBlue.

It’s pretty common for programs to allow their own members to book additional flights (at a higher rate). You can’t use partner miles on anything but the lowest price awards.
