I have a redemption related question and was hoping to tap into your experience.
We are looking at travelling from Mel-Bom return business class preferably on CX as we have asia miles accrued. I currently have 210k & wife has 76k all accrued via Amex MR. We do not have any status with CX and all those miles already transferred to Asia Miles.
Travel dates are 20/04-05/05 (+/-2 days)
Currentl asia miles website is showing waitlist on all of the dates around that time.
So, I have following questions
1) How likely do you think we will have the award clear closer to the time? Is it worth booking it hoping that it will clear?
2) Would buying “marco polo” green membership boost any chances of waitlist clearing?
3) How else could I use asia miles to travel business on partner ailrline?
Any help with the above would be much appreciated. Thank you
