CX first class seat with AA miles hold time

CX first class seat with AA miles hold time

  1. Anonymous Guest

So I just put Cathay Pacific first class seat on hold for travel on December 28, 2015. I remember reading that you can hold a seat only for 24 hours if the travel commences within 14 days. So I assumed that that would be the case with my reservation as well. However, when I log into my AA account it says that the reservation will be cancelled only on December 25, 2015 11:59 PM CST, which is 5 full days from the time of making the reservation. So my question is, can I count on the reservation being held till December 25? Or should I be worried that it’s gonna be cancelled after 24 hours? Thanks

Looks like they extended the hold time for you; you should be okay!
