Cost of adding infant to EY flight booked through AA

Cost of adding infant to EY flight booked through AA

    Hi guys,

As per Ben’s post almost a year ago

    http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2014/09/17/infant-award-travel/

infant travel on EY will be charged 10% of the adult revenue fare plus fees and taxes.

Has anyone booked this recently ? Has this calculation changed ?

Also – for a one way fare, would the infant fare be calculated at the actual one way adult revenue fare, or, at half of the return adult revenue fare ?

I’m hoping the latter as in many cases this can work out to be alot less than the former

    Cheers

@Nizar — Welcome! 10% is pretty standard, so I wouldn’t expect that to change.

The fare will be based off of whatever the adult ticket is, so if it’s a one-way it will likely be a one way fare. The best option is really just to call and have AA calculate it for you.
