Complaint and rewards

I emailed a complaint to Delta Airlines, their resolution was to add miles to my skymiles account. Now the issue I complaint about was the passenger beside me got ill and vomited on me. On my arm and leg, I said, there was no barf bags in the seats in front of us. Delta said they don’t usually consider something like this for flight vouchers or Skyrewards but gave me 2,000 miles. Did I mess up by taking the miles and asking for more?

Miles are a common way for airlines to respond to problems. I wouldn’t think of this as having messed up and would probably consider 2000 miles to be low as well.
