Citi Prestige for AA flights still available?
I have some citi points I’d like to use for redemption on AA. Last a read a while ago they redeemed at 1.6 miles per point. Is this still available? I looked on citi’s site and didn’t find any mention of it anymore.
Ideally I’m booking right at new years to get next years 250 dollar credit on top of it. That’s every calendar year right?
Thanks!
Yes, it’s available. You must log in through the Thank You Points website and look for flights there. Be aware that the cash prices you see there may or may not be the same as you see elsewhere. Also, I recently learned that TY Points can only be used for flights ~250 days in advance whereas many airlines open their schedules at 330 days or more.
That’s an interesting fact MSS, I didn’t know that!
Yes, I was going to spend some points for a positioning flight in October but found I couldn’t make the purchase yet. Thought that was odd.
