China Southern with Skymiles

China Southern with Skymiles

  1. johnmaher New Member

I am having trouble booking a China Southern ticket with Skymiles and hoping someone might have some insight. I have been able to see availability for 4 seats in Business on Expertflyer for the last 5 days. I have also been able to pull those seats up on Delta and Flyingblue. When I try to ticket them with Skymiles though, it fails to book after accepting payment. The flight is from Japan to the US via CAN on 12/31/16 which I don’t think should be covered by any of Delta’s blackout dates. Any ideas how I can get this ticketed?

Welcome @johnmaher, and sorry you’re having problems!

Delta has historically had a lot of issues with ticketing China Southern flights. You might want to check and make sure you see space on both segments individually, and then call and see if an agent can pull the seats manually. If not, there isn’t much recourse, sadly.
