Cathay pacific award
I am looking at going from BOS-HKG but am having trouble finding business class on Cathay on the BOS flight. I can find it out of JFK no problem. If I am booking with AA miles, can I include the BOS-JFK flight in the award or does that have to be separate? ALso, if I book out of JFK and direct from BOS comes available, am I able to switch?
Thank you,
@Patrickj – it can be part of the same award. And the nice thing about AA awards is that you can make changes as long as the origin & destination stay the same. So go ahead and book BOS-JFK-HKG and if BOS-HKG comes open you can switch for free (unless it’s within a few weeks of departure and then you may incur the $75 close-in ticketing fee).
