Can’t add JJ JFK-YYZ on EY award?

Can’t add JJ JFK-YYZ on EY award?

  1. Anonymous Guest

trying to book AUH-JFK-YYZ and the agent wasn’t able to book the JJ segment (showing available on BA website) …system was saying “Invalid carrier for this zone” – ever seen this? She said the system was wanting to charge new award SA-NA if I added the JJ segment. Seems very strange !

Hey Ben, what miles were you trying to use? American has had issues booking both EY and JJ for a while now, so there are several variables.

It was AA miles. I even called back trying just to book the JJ segment and the same error occured – “invalid zone” and the agent couldn’t book. I booked the EY segment via the SYD call centre but tried to add the JJ segment via the American one. Wonder if that makes a difference?

@Ben I would call the Australia call center to make any modifications since you originally booked via Aus. I called a US call center to modify a ticket booked in Aus and they told me they couldnt do it
