Can I use Asiana miles to book a ticket for a friend

Can I use Asiana miles to book a ticket for a friend

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hey everyone,

I’ve looked online and couldn’t find anything, but I was going to book a Lufthansa award ticket for myself and my friend using Asiana miles, and before I transferred the points over I wanted to make sure that was allowed.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

    Thanks!

Most programs allow you to use the miles to book travel for someone else, regardless of whether you’re traveling or not.

A handful of programs dont allow this or make it complicated – namely Korean Air, Singapore Airlines (you have a limited number of “nominees” that isnt easily changed) and I believe JAL. Your best bet might be to call Asiana’s program and find out more.
