I have over 200k chase sapphire points, looking to book around november 15 and return after thanksgiving, for my wife and I. How do I book from BWI to LAX for only 4 days for a wedding, then oahu, hawaii using the fewest miles.

    Thank you in advanced.

@kailam19, award space to HI can be tough to come by. You have a few options. You can do a direct transfer to UA and see what three one ways price out to be. I don’t think that the excursionist perk will apply here so you may have to do more investigation. You could transfer to SQ and use the miles to book a UA award with the star alliance award chart with a stopover. You could also transfer to Korean if you can find award space on DL.

However, like I mentioned award space is tough to come by and it might be better to investigate paid tickets. Not sure if AS can route an itinerary for you but you could use the companion certificate that comes with their credit card to help defray costs.
