Booking EVA Airlines Business (Royal Laurel) with *Alliance Partners

    Hi,

I’m looking to book a trip from JFK to TPE on EVA’s Royal Laurel class for travel in January. I have about 100,000 AMEX points which I figured I’d use to book one-way with Aeroplan and about 80,000 UR points which I’d use to book the other way through United. From googling around, it seems like EVA doesn’t release award space to partner airlines until 14 days prior to travel…Is there anyway of getting ahead on this? E.g. expertflyer notification or some other way so that I can be the first to jump on those award seats via Aeroplan/United? Thanks!

@Amos C — Welcome! It should be 90 days, I believe…Lufthansa is 14. ExpertFlyer doesn’t support EVA award space, unfortunately, so the best option is just to set a calendar reminder.

thanks for the response! I’m having trouble seeing any availability through United or Aeroplan past 14 days though…should I be calling instead?

It might be fluctuating, but I think it’s definitely “no more than” 90 days. I’d use the ANA tool, as that’s going to be the most accurate.
