Booking BA through American to protect against bankruptcy
Sadly, AA stopped allowing redeeming of miles for gift cards.
We have a considerable amount of miles and the chance of bankruptcy is there.
If we were to book a British Air flight through American with miles and American declared bankruptcy, would this insulate us? Would our ticket still stand since it for a British Air flight?
