Best way to get from SF to Maldives with Citi ThankYou points?

Best way to get from SF to Maldives with Citi ThankYou points?

  1. Matthew Herbst New Member

    I’m looking to do business/first class flights from San Francisco to the Maldives in February next year, and trying to think what the best options might be. The majority of my points are Citi ThankYou points or Marriott Bonvoy points. I was thinking the right thing to do might be something along the lines of:

    SF -> Sri Lanka
    Sri Lanka -> Malé
    Malé -> SF

    I’m very interested in trying some of: Cathay Pacific, Singapore, Lufthansa, and/or some of the Gulf carriers.

    Is that possible with the point currencies I have?

    Thanks for any advice!

    Yes, it’s possible, depending on your balances.

    Citi TY points can be transferred to Cathay, Singapore, Etihad, Lifemiles, among others.
