I need to be in Venice by the evening of sept 1. I can fly out of any city in USA and to really any city close to Venice.

Is there a way to search availability for flights to Venice based on destination and it shows lowest miles for all departure cities. Sounds like a dream. I know. But I figured if it was out there you guys would know about it.

Any thoughts on best plan of action?

Also- how close to departure date do last Lufthansa business/first usually open?

You might want to consider a paid service for something like that, since there really is no easy way to do a mass search like that. As you said, sounds like a dream 🙂

Did a quick search, there is availability in business on Lufthansa from New York on August 29th, arriving to Venice on August 30th. Transfer Chase points?
