Hi everyone,
For next April, I have SFO-LHR round trip booked in business class (paid ticket from one of the recent sales). Was hoping to spend 50K Avios and upgrade to First. At the moment, there is no award availability on my flights in First, so I know I cannot upgrade with Avios.
My question is… how often (and when?) does First availability open up on these flights? Both my outbound and return are on a Wednesday.
If it matters, I’m booked on the A380 flight, not B747, for both directions.

Anonymous GuestI would start aggressively looking about a week before departure. It might not happen until the day before, it just depends on the other loads. I will cross my fingers for you though!
