BA Avios to/from Hawaii

    Hi folks!

I am trying to find AA award availability to use avios for the following –
    LAX to OGG on 12/18
    KOA to LAX on 12/28

No saver availability…any alternate ideas? Alaska has availability but would cost 40K each way for 2 pax and I only have ~53K.

    Any help is much appreciated!

On an unrelated note, there was a customer advocacy site on baordingarea that helped people with issues…cant recall the name…does anyone know the site?

AA saver award space is already tough to find. Add in that you’re traveling over Christmas and I want to say that it’s almost impossible. If you can find award space on AS, book it. I think AS is also running a miles sale at the moment so maybe you could purchase the difference in miles?

You could also double check the cash price and get an Alaska Visa with the discounted companion ticket. You can then book any flight.
